My name is Linda Maduro, the Destination Manager for TNT in Aruba. I am new to TNT but not new to tourism or Aruba. I have lived in Aruba and worked in the tourism industry for the past nine years. Visitors to Aruba ask me, "How did you get to live and work in Aruba ?" My answer, "I got lucky."
I am sooo lucky to live in a special piece of paradise like Aruba. I love this island with its unique charm not found anywhere else in the Caribbean. One of the greatest joys in my job is to inspire others to discover Aruba and make unforgettable memories to take home.
The Aruba Team provides superior customer service from the moment you step off the aircraft until, all too quickly, the time you depart for home. We greet you at the airport, are available throughout your stay via desk hours and telephone, and we facilitate your smooth departure.
One of our most important services is the welcome orientation we provide for you the morning after your arrival. Do attend. Where else will you learn how our native Divi Divi tree will guide you back to your hotel if you get lost? Or how to say "I love you" in our native dialect Papiamento?
My free time is spent with my husband and dog, Creature. (They are both Aruban.) Our favorite activities, especially when my family comes to visit from the United States, are to retreat to the wild side of the island and truly get away from it all by snorkeling. Even after nine years I'm still fascinated by the kaleidoscope of tropical marine life that inhabits our crystal clear water.
