Summary : Barbados 7-Night Itinerary
Day1
Arrival Day. You have just arrived in Barbados, the most easterly of the Caribbean islands and the gateway to the West Indies. Barbados is 14 miles wide and 21 miles long and enjoys an average year-round temperature of approximately 84?F. Today is a perfect day to familiarize yourself with your hotel and the surrounding area, catch some sun, or just plain wind down and start relaxing
Day2
The best way to experience the diverse beauty of Barbados is on a full-day Island Tour. Several different companies offer great tours. Be sure your tour includes a journey through historic Bridgetown, goes to the west coast including Holetown and Speightstown, stops at Cherry Tree Hill, Andromeda Gardens, Bathesbeda and St. John's Church, just to name a few.In the evening, we suggest you head over to St. Lawrence Gap on the South Coast. This area has a fun, bohemian feel and has many restaurants ranging from upscale seafood to fine Italian dinning to local rum shops. There are also several great places to listen to live music, including McBride's Irish Pub and The Ship Inn.
Day3
Today is a great day to set sail on a Catamaran Cruise. This is a not to be missed adventure and is one of the best ways available to see the Barbados coastline. The crew provides everything you need for a sun-filled, self-indulgent sail. All companies sail up the West Coast with stops for snorkeling (the crew fits you with equipment), relaxing, and swimming with the sea turtles. The food is great, and the drinks are endless.
Day4
Today you might want to rent a car and discover the real Barbados. Start your day off by visiting Harrison's Cave, Barbados' underground wonder located in the center of the island, then visit the Flower Forest and fertile sugar land before you head to the Wildlife Reserve, where you just might see the feeding of the green monkeys. On your way back to the hotel stop off for shopping in Holetown and grab a bite to eat while watching the sunset at one of the many seaside eateries.
Day5
Discover the beautiful world at the Bottom of the Sea with Atlantis Submarine, the ultimate in premier submarine adventures. You will get the Thrill of Diving to 150 ft. below the surface without getting wet. Safe, comfortable, and unforgettable. In the evening, The Tropical Spectacular offers a magnificent evening's entertainment with sensational costumes, dance and music celebrating the mixed cultures of the Caribbean, a sumptuous Bajan Buffet and free drinks, also enjoy the Flaming Limbo and Fire Eating.
Day6
Barbados is famous for many things; one of which is Rum! A great way to see how the oldest rum in the world is made is with a visit to the Mount Gay Rum Distillery. This is an excellent, informative 35-minute guided tour, which includes a video presentation, a walk through the aging cellars, the blending and bottling plant. This can be combined with lunch after the tour and of course a "sampling session." Be sure to purchase your souvenirs at duty free prices in the shop located on the premises. Barbados is home to Malibu Rum, too. The Malibu Rum Visitor Centre offers a variety of tours and is located adjacent to the West Indies Rum Distillery and situated on a beautiful beach. You can also spend the day relaxing on a lounge chair under a beach umbrella or browse the gift shop.
Day7
Be sure to confirm your airline departure and hotel transfer with your Representative. Check out and be in the lobby at the appointed time for the transfer to the airport.
