Cambridge Beaches is delightfully private and the atmosphere is casually elegant. The splendors of nature surround the property with endless water views, beautiful beaches, spectacular sunsets and starry nights. The individually decorated and unique cottage-style accommodations offer privacy and comfort. Cambridge Beaches is a special "high-energy" place where magical things happen. Most come here for a complete escape or to celebrate a special occasion or to find respite from the stress and strain of daily living. Celebrate being together! All our guests receive the gifts of relaxation, inspiration, and rejuvenation. Romance is our specialty.
Just a short walk from Cambridge Beaches along a winding picturesque road is Somerset, a charming little town with shops, a ferry stop and a post office. The entire area is wonderful to explore on foot, by bicycle or moped, to enjoy views of surrounding waterways. For walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers, a visit to the Bermuda Railway Trails is recommended for the stunning views and pastoral tranquility.

Activities:
| You can sunbathe and enjoy the views from your cottage, in a quiet cove or on one of our beaches, play tennis on one of three courts, try your hand at English croquet or practice your putting on the Cambridge green. Rent a bike or moped near the main building to explore the island. Listen to kiskadees and the many other birds that make Bermuda a birder's paradise.
| We offer a daily itinerary of special excursions and activities, which often include walking jaunts in the area and opportunities to horseback ride, sight-see and much more. There are a wealth of historical and cultural sites to see in Bermuda that are easily reachable and enjoyable for all ages.
| Between April and October, Cambridge Beaches offers a complimentary ferry to Hamilton that leaves right from our dock for shopping and sightseeing. The thirty minute ride across the Great Sound is truly beautiful and offers real insight into the Bermudian way of life. In the shoulder months, we provide complimentary tokens for the public transportation system.
| Bermuda is a golfer's paradise and offers excellent golfing weather year-round. Better still, we are a member of every golf course in Bermuda and we would be delighted to make your reservation in advance of arrival. There are currently six 18-hole courses and two 9-hole courses. We have a special arrangement with the private Mid Ocean Club ? the most exclusive course in Bermuda. Our guests may play Mid Ocean on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; please note that we are only able to confirm tee times at Mid Ocean 24 hours in advance and payment is made directly to the course at the time of play. Once you have a confirmed reservation, you will receive an entry code, which will allow you to fill out our "Golfing in Bermuda" request form for advance tee times. Golf clubs may be rented at each club for varying prices and lessons are also available. Transportation to the courses is by taxi. The championship Port Royal, second in ranking to Mid Ocean, is the closest to Cambridge Beaches (only 10 minutes away). There's also a putting green right on our own property and an excellent golf massage at the Ocean Spa that has been known to improve play!

Beach:
| Stunning azure ocean and bay waters can be seen from nearly every part of the property with some of Bermuda's best beaches found here. Five private beaches and sandy coves surround the peninsula that are perfect for Bermuda snorkeling, sunbathing and swimming - and relaxing!

Kids' Club:
| Children's Policy: Families are welcome at Cambridge Beaches! In fact, new in 2005 is a designated family beach plus special family dining times, special activities including a weekly bonfire in the summer months for story-telling and star gazing. Cambridge Beaches does have a children's policy in place as the property is just not built with the safety of small children in mind. Therefore, no children under five years of age are permiitted at Cambridge Beaches. The facilities are geared mainly to adults, but there is much for older children to enjoy (ideally ages 8+), provided they are always under parental supervision and care. Family dining is in place for families and all children under the age of 10 in the late afternoon/early evening. Young people, ages 11 and older, may enjoy the dining room after 7:30pm with their parents, provided they are well-behaved and capable of sitting through a gourmet five course dinner.
| With regard to other facilities: The outdoor pool can be used by children over the age of 10, with adult supervision. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult to use the indoor pools and facilities at the Ocean Spa. No child under age 14 may use the current pool for their safety. Teens 16 and older may use the Fitness Center equipment. As you consider your plans, do keep in mind that there are numerous beach areas and coves for children to enjoy.

Restaurants:
| TAMARISK ROOM: Recently chosen by FOOD & WINE magazine as one of Bermuda's best restaurants, guests and locals take full advantage of Cambridge Beaches Tamarisk Room year-round. The ambiance is sophisticated, the mood romantic, the cuisine superb. Dining is a big event and no one is ever disappointed. Our Executive Chef Harald Klement uses only the freshest ingredients: seafood arrives at the dock by boat, fruits and vegetables are often local, fresh herbs are grown in the Cambridge garden, fresh bread, pastries and home made ice cream are made daily on the property. A recent culinary enthusiast commented that her meal surpassed that of anything she had eaten in New York's finest! The Tamarisk Room opens onto a lovely outdoor terrace with spectacular views of Mangrove Bay where dining and dancing is a favourite past-time of guests. The dinner menu changes nightly and consists of at least five-courses. There is a wonderful wine cellar offering vintage brands to pair with every course. A sophisticated lunch menu is also offered in The Tamarisk Room inside or out on the terrace... or why not request a picnic basket and take a boat to the Honeymoon Islands? Breakfast is a scrumptious, expansive buffet attended by chefs eager to prepare whatever you desire.
| BREEZES: Breezes, our new waterfront alfresco restaurant right on Long Bay Beach. Delicious trendy cuisine and casual dining means a fun, informal option for guests, who long to linger by the sand and sea from May through October (included in the MAP meal plan for guests)! Breezes is especially welcome for sunbathers and beachcombers during the day, for those who don't want to go too far for cooling beverages, a snack or delectable lunch.
| Dress Code for Meals: Our requests regarding proper dress at Cambridge Beaches are not meant to prohibit individual taste, but rather to ensure our guests feel comfortable and relaxed in an atmosphere that seeks to reflect the quality, standards and beauty of a five-star resort. Generally speaking, our guests dress in comfortable, attractive resort-wear. In the Main House, wet swimsuits are not permitted and footwear is required at all times. Mealtime: Breakfast & Lunch: Our guests normally dress nicely for breakfast outdoors on the Mangrove Bay Terrace; at lunch this is also the case, and for those who are in swimsuits, we require cover-ups for the ladies and shirts for the gentlemen. Footwear again, is always required, except for Breezes (beach front cafe) where dress is totally casual. Evenings: During the summer months, we will offer a number of alternatives for dinner, reservations required. These areas have their own dress codes as follows. Beach Dining at Breezes: Resort casual. Footwear must be worn at all times! Fabulous sunsets, delicious food -- that endless summer feeling. The Tamarisk Room or Bay Terrace: Jackets and ties are now optional, collared shirts are required, but you will see many who truly enjoy dressing nicely for a gourmet dinner. Men who frequent Bermuda will often wear the traditional attire: blazer and collared shirt with Bermuda shorts and long socks or slacks. If outdoor dining on the terrace is desired, those who wear jackets will feel free to remove them. Gentlemen should not wear open-toed sandals or sneakers while dining at The Tamarisk Room. Please note: Jeans, cut offs and vests are not acceptable in the restaurant or on the Tamarisk Terrace.
| Modified American Plan: MAP or Modified American Plan is a meal plan that includes full breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner. BP means breakfast plan and also includes afternoon tea.
