The Fairmont Southampton has achieved designation as a "Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary" by the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System (ACSS), the educational division of Audubon International. Jason Pick, Assistant Superintendent, has led the effort to obtain sanctuary status on this golf course and is being recognized for Environmental Stewardship by Audubon International. The Fairmont Southampton is the 1st golf course in Bermuda and the 617th in the world to receive the honor.This is a smoke free hotel
PLEASE NOTE The Newport Room restaurant will be closed for the 2009 Season. Ferry service between Fairmont Southampton and Fairmont Hamilton Princess will be replaced with a land based shuttle service from November 16, 2009 through March 31, 2010. Ferry service will operate briefly during the Christmas period.
